Career Development

Career is a behavioral and attitude process associated with the past, present and possible future practices, ideas and activities in relation to the aspirations and interest of an individual.
A career is a continuous work process overtime. Choice of career demands previous degree, interest and aspirations of success from the chosen career.

A basic element of career development is an upward move along a path. In this sense, therefore, career development is an integrated aspect of organizational growth and development. Another element of career development is that an employee remains in an organization up till the period of his annual leave or retirement from the organization.
Career development is futuristic and subject to re-examination and review so as to meet organizational goals and objectives.
